Vastra Dori

About VastraDori

Long before Vastradori had a name, it had a home, and a mother’s hands showing two young daughters how cloth is made.

Anu and Sarika learned the craft early, from their mother and the women of their family. They learned how a thread becomes a weave, how a weave becomes a garment, and how a garment can carry a family’s care in every stitch. It was knowledge passed down quietly, the way the best things are.

As they grew, they realised that an art like this survives only if it’s shared. So at their own home, with the same patience they were taught, they began making clothes by hand and offering them to others. That was the beginning of Vastradori.

The name joins vastra, cloth, and dori, thread. It’s what we’ve always done: hold one generation to the next with a single thread.

Today our collection runs from traditional and ethnic wear for the days that call for celebration to everyday pieces that feel at ease on an ordinary morning. Many of them are quietly striking enough to be your showstopper. Each is made with the same care we grew up watching.

When you wear something from Vastradori, you’re wearing a piece of that inheritance. We’re honoured to share it with you.

Welcome to our family.
